Wow, beautiful work and I have to say it does capture the whole fantasy feel to it, I also love the scale compared to the figures, thanks for putting those in to show off how huge this place is

This is really wonderful. I love the amount of detail in this piece that you made just by adding in some strokes here and there. A wonderful paint!

Under a bridge of stone
is a place we call our own
just you and me
we are home
in this wild wood
two wild hearts
you and me
running wild and free

=)

Nice when art inspires words in me. Thanks.

I love your technique here. How you have rendered this with wide range of different strokes and color. Makes one to imagine all kinds of details. :)

personally I would have scaled up the humanoids so we get more rendered characters that shows
us their relationship clearer.

What I would love to see is more line of action pointing us to the action where those humanoids are standing. Right now you got the light source behind them leading us the viewer to them. I am not sure but it's probably good enough in this case :)

Overal I think it's a good piece! :)

Thank you for your comment,

I wasn't sure how big I wanted the environment to be, but to add to the fantasy vibe decided to shrink the silhouette of the figures to make the branches/roots look much bigger than you would normally find in real life. The figures were initially just for scale, but of course as you mentioned, there was no real line of action so the light drew alot of attention to the humans even though they are small and undetailed.

Thanks for giving me things to consider for future pieces.
